After 7 months of private beta testing, the Cookie3 public beta is live, enabling comprehensive analytics across 12+ blockchains and multiple Web3 growth tools. With off- to on-chain data aggregation, Cookie3 allows Web3 marketers to analyze the entire user journey — from social media traffic to complex activities on-chain.

Cookie3, the Google Analytics alternative for Web3, released its public beta after seven months of private beta testing. This new Cookie3 tool allows Web3 marketers to track and analyze attribution, conversion, and performance based on the intersection of the on-chain and off-chain data. With 200+ business clients already and Web2-Web3 marketing tools integrated, Cookie3’s off- to on-chain analytics platform may become the new Web3 marketing standard.

According to a 2023 survey cited by Raymond A. School of Business, more than 80% of marketing professionals make decisions based on data. Web2 analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, give marketers unique customer data, including location or attribution and conversion channels, which shape decisions regarding future campaigns, partnerships, or IRL event locations. Yet, in Web3, many analytics tools fall short because they fail to capture how users behave on-chain.

Information such as the types of assets in users’ wallets, their on-chain behaviors, or the frequency of on-chain activity is valuable for marketers. It may have a direct impact on shaping communication strategies and campaigns. Cookie3 designed the first-ever platform that combines the established Web2 analytics methods with on-chain analytics, allowing projects to see the bigger user behavior picture.

"Cookie3 allows us to track full user journey and conversion rates on-chain. Equipped with this information, we could optimize Customer Acquisition Cost and understand our users more profoundly," said Lamine Cheloufi, CEO and founder of Flooz.

With Cookie3, marketers can finally evaluate off-chain metrics such as engagement on social media and wallet connections alongside subsequent on-chain interactions. Cookie3 uses the same data that can be found on Ethercan or Dune, combines it with off-chain data, and presents it in an easy-to-use, automated, no-code analytical tool. All data is aggregated, meaning Cookie3 is GDPR compliant, and no individual user data is ever revealed.

“Marketing performance analytics is the cornerstone of digital marketing in e-commerce or social media. You get to know where your customers are coming from, what they’re buying, and if they will stay long-term. Today, Web3 marketers can finally make data-driven decisions and boost important metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost, Customer Lifetime Value, retention rate, and more with off- to on-chain data analytics, ” said Filip Wielanier, the CEO and co-founder of Cookie3. “My career started in marketing, so I got to experience the value of data analytics first-hand. Then, the lack of on-chain data aggregation made me realize that Web3 marketing was incomplete. It’s a huge milestone to bring Cookie3 to the market. I hope we have made the lives of many Web3 marketers easier, helping them better understand user behaviors to create campaigns their audiences will love.”

Cookie3 provides several tools in its stack that enable off- to on-chain analytics, research, and campaign planning:

  1. Website analytics: Marketers can analyze website traffic via UTM links, devices, location, and more in connection with on-chain activity such as swaps, mints, buys, assets held, etc. Cookie3’s website analytics is incorporated across 12 EVM blockchains, with more to be added soon.
  2. On-chain explorer: Cookie3 gives marketers tools to research and better understand their target groups' behaviors at the campaign planning stage. Marketers can use unique on- and off-chain parameters, such as location, assets held, and more, to receive aggregated information about their target audience's characteristics, such as size, token share across wallets, on-chain activity frequencies, preferred dApps, and more.
  3. Advertise: Cookie3  allows marketers to define their specific audiences (uploaded into the platform based on analytics data or discovered via the explorer) and match it with off-chain data such as X (formerly Twitter) handles.
  4. Campaign Manager: Marketers can easily set up UTM links for in-depth analytics on Web2 platforms such as X, Web3 publishers like CoinTelegraph or Chainwire, and most Web3 quest platforms, including Galxe, Zealy, or Rep3.

Cookie3’s public beta went live on the 26th of February. Web3 marketers can sign up for a free trial period and a Cookie3 tutorial session with a dedicated account manager.
